Talks
CUPS holds free,weekly online talks from a range of speakers. Though these are usually aimed at clinical students, feel free to come! These talks are publicised on our Facebook page so follow us at Cambridge University Paediatrics Society!
Apple Day
Usually in mid-October, CUPS and kind volunteers head to Burwash Manor to help out at 'Apple Day' and get a chance to look at all the fun and creative activities there.
Mentorship programme
Want to gain an insight into what it is like to work in paediatrics? Whether you are not quite sure yet or are certain paediatrics speciality is for you, the mentorship program will help you on your journey by pairing you with a doctor who can answer questions, provide advice and even help you find shadowing experience.
Project Play
Project play is a popular volunteering scheme by CUPS and is back! Being a volunteer helps volunteers gain confidence in communicating and playing with children, begin to understand paediatrics as a speciality and make hospital admissions a less frightening experience!
Annual Paediatrics Conference
In February, come and join us at the Clinical School for the annual conferences with a range of fabulous talks, workshops as well as presentations and maybe leave with a goodie bag!
